Silver lining in the clouds

Sunday, December 4th, 2005

Well, although there’s no news of the contract yet, but there is a silver lining in the dark clouds is that I’ve gotten my Commercial Pilot License! Sheer hard work… I was flying over the mountains when the turbulence got so turbulent(?) that it’ve taken the initiative to bump my testing officer & me up so hard that our heads got smashed on the roof of the aircraft. Damn it! I hate flying in turbulent weather! But I guess that’s just a part & parcel of life. Like life itself, there’s no such thing that every single portion of life is smooth sailing. Without its ups & downs, we wouldn’t learn much from life itself.

Oh no! When have I gotten so philosophical again? That seems so long ago when I take the time to stop & reflect. Maybe now is the time to stop myself & reflect on life. Ever since I’ve left for Sydney, life has just been so hectic that I didn’t stop & look… Although 10 months have passed, but it seems to flash across now that I reflect on it. My dear friends are changing in their own ways, its good to see that people change, but no matter how they change, when they still remember their old friends, thats when I truly appreciate it & am proud to call you guys who’re by my side, my friends! Thats what friendship is all about.

Hehe… Although I’m not smart, handsome, rich, cool, or what you might call it, but I do have a knack for things & its finding such cool friends like you guys… If & when I do drink this coming weekend (I should be pretty free this weekend), I’ll drink a toast to each & every single one of you!

Alrighty, I gotta go! Time for a steamboat dinner! Yumyum… Until then, tata.

Viv: Thanks for your encouragement! Apparently, heard that there might still be chances as some of the people are only contacted 2 weeks before the course starts. That gives me approximately 19 days to wait. Anyhow you take care of yourself, girl & don’t tire yourself out at work.
